Diagonales : l'écharpe

J'ai découvert récemment une nouvelle laine : la Darling de chez Katia. J'avais acheté 3 pelotes sans trop savoir quoi en faire, juste pour regarder les couleurs :)

Puis, je me suis dit que cette laine conviendrait bien pour une écharpe selon mon tuto Diagonales :puisque la laine est dégradée, pas de changement de pelote à chaque rang, et donc peu de fils à rentrer !

Voici donc l'écharpe Diagonales :

Un vrai plaisir à crocheter.

 

Pour la recette :

-3 pelotes de Katia Darling

-1 crochet 2,5mm (oui, oui, 2,5!)

-Le tuto Diagonales (français ou english)

Pour mes lecteurs habituels, ce post est la traduction d'un ancien post en français ici (clic clic).

Il y a juste un rajout en dernière partie pour faire une écharpe (cf dernière photo)

What you need:

Wool in several colors (there are 13 colors in the sample above)
A crochet (the size recommended for the wool)
Scissors
That's all!


Tuto :

This is made in two steps : one for increases, one for decreases. The only change is in the beginning and the end of each row, but the idea stays the same.

!!You will need to turn your work between each row!!


To begin :



Chain 6 (=3 chain + 1 treble).



Then do 1 treble in the third chain from the beginning, and 2 other treble in 2nd and 1st chain.



There you are, the first square is done. Cut your thread if you want to change color.


Increase rows : 

Begin by joining the new color (knot the new yarn with the one you cut before). Turn your work.

Chain 6 (= 3 chain + 1 treble)

You will work this first square just as the first one in the beginning, aka 3 treble in the first 3 chains.



Here, you join with a slip stitch to the top of the previous row/square:


Then again : 3 chain followed by 3 treble in the space between the  2 first treble of the square of the row under.



(It means there will only be 3 trebles shown by square when the work is done, since the 4th will be hidden under the trebles of the row above)Then you cut your thread, and make a knot with the following color.




And then again :
Turn Work

Chain 6

3 treble in the first 3 chain followed by a slip stitch in the row before to join:



Then Chain 3 and work 3 trebles in the first 3 chain of the previous row, join, etc.




You are done with the increases. Keep doing this until you reach the width you want.


To decrease :

The idea stays the same for the inside of the rows. The only change is in the beginning and the end of each row.

Begin by a slip stitch in the beginning of the row (see pictures) :



Then work as follow :

Chain 3 and make 3 treble in the previous row.

Join with a slip stitch.

Work the rest of the row as usual, but to end the row you will need to stop one square before (join with a slip stitch and cut your yarn.)

For you, scarf makers : you will work the increases until you reach the width you want. Place a marker (security pin, a contrasting thread, or whatever you want) on the side you wand to be the bottom of the scarf.

Then you will keep increasing on ONE side, and decreasing the other side as follow :

Tuto :

Ce carré se fait en deux étapes : une méthode pour les augmentations, et une pour les diminutions. C'est en début et fin de rang que ça change, sinon le principe est le même bien sûr.
Et aussi il faut savoir qu'on tourne l'ouvrage à chaque rang.


Démarrage :



Pour commencer, faire 6 mailles en l'air (correspond à 3 mailles en l'air + une bride).



Puis faire une bride en piquant dans la 3° maille en l'air , et 2 autres brides dans la 2° maille en l'air puis la première :



Voilà, plus qu'à arrêter le fil, le carré de démarrage est fini.


Rangs d'augmentation : 

Commencer par joindre avec un noeud le nouveau fil à l'ancien.Retourner l'ouvrage puis faire 6 mailles en l'air (=3mailles en l'air + une bride)


Ensuite on recommence comme au début, 3 brides dans les 3 premières mailles en l'air :



Là, joindre avec une maille coulée au carré précédent :


Et c'est reparti : 3 mailles en l'air suivies de 3 brides dans l'espace entre les 2 premières brides du rang précédent :



Et ensuite arrêter le fil, et nouer le fil suivant :




Et c'est reparti encore :
On tourne l'ouvrage, 6 mailles en l'air, 3 brides dans les 3 premières mailles en l'air, suivi d'une maille coulée pour joindre au rang précédent :



Puis 3 mailles en l'air, et 3 brides dans l'espace entre les deux brides du rang précédent, etc.




Voilà, c'est fini pour les augmentations, vous continuez ainsi jusqu'à la hauteur souhaitée.


Rangs de diminution :

Le principe pour l'intérieur des rangs est le même. Ce qui change c'est le début de chaque rang et leur fin.

Faire une maille de démarrage sur le crochet puis une maille coulée sur le début du rang :



Suivi de 3 mailles en l'air et 3 brides dans la bride du rang précédent. On joint par une maille coulée


Le reste du rang est identique aux augmentations, jusqu'à la fin, où on s'arrête un motif avant :

Diagonales au crochet

Une tentative de travail en diagonale qui a bien marché, donc c'est parti pour un coussin on dirait. Surtout qu'il me reste de la laine de mes african flowers, alors autant en profiter, pas vrai?



Par contre avec ça pas possible de rentrer les fils en crochetant...
